This is the cove that Darwin and his crew first stepped foot on the Galapagos Islands. This particular island is San Cristobal. After years of destruction to the islands ecosystems by explorers, the islands have emerged as a great success story for conservation. The strict laws and immense amount of conservation done for the islands has allowed animals like this Frigatebird to thrive.
