This photo is a picture of Baba the Tree Pangolin that lives at The San Diego Zoo. These species are beautiful animals that are often exploited for their bushmeat and medicinal uses. Although they are at a level of near threatened and pose no current environmental impact in their decline of 20 to 25%. This is another example of a future where these animals will eventually have the potential to become extinct. Tree Pangolins continue to be harvested as will the continued destruction of their natural habitat.
