Join AAZK San Diego in welcoming Ashwin Naidu, co-founder and director of the Fishing Cat Conservancy, for an exclusive talk on current developments in fishing cat conservation. There will be a reception at 4:30 with light snacks & refreshments before the talk, which will begin at 5:00 with time for Q&A afterward.
The Fishing Cat Conservancy’s mission is to promote the long-term survival of fishing cats in the wild through public education, capacity-building, and community-based research and conservation.

Inspired by the potential of community-based conservation, Ashwin started the Fishing Cat Conservancy (FCC) in 2014 to help survey and protect the endangered fishing cat and its globally important mangrove habitat.

Ashwin’s work focuses on applying interdisciplinary approaches for the conservation and management of endangered species and their habitats.
